Scary Mermaid Girl

I wanted to draw a mix of classical mermaid elements and more "natural" elements.  I wanted her to seem pretty, but sort of tribal and tough too.  Not an Ariel type.  To make her more fish-like I stuck gills on her neck, added some fishy markings and gave her fish eyes.   This piece isn't finished, but I'm not sure if I feel like messing with it anymore.  I'm fickle.  What can I say? 

In other news, today was pretty relaxing overall.  I got to chill out, take a nap after church and played WoW with my brother's guild.  All good fun.   I also got an email back from my potential professor saying that I could get into her full class.  Yay!   I'm on my way.
