So, I've got a new phone! Woohoo! Mom got me an LG Xenon for my birthday...partially. Still, I am learning how dangerously addictive that smart phones can be.

Anyway! Today's doodle is for my pal, Jacqui, who is working on a story. I agreed to do some illustration for her. This character is Arisa, an emo/skaterish teenager who gets in over her head. It's colored sloppily but I like the lights shades I used. I'll post a few more over the next couple of days, I think.

As for my own life, it seems I'll have this summer free. They dropped my summer class and school is out, so the substitute job is on hold. Good news though. I got a grant for my classes in the fall. That's just awesome.
